The Cornell Lab of Ornithology has a great Urban birds kit available for you after registering on their site. My husband is a teacher and has bird feeders outside the windows of his classroom...what a fun activity for them! :) Here's a little blurb from their site:
"We would like as many people as possible to participate in Celebrate Urban Birds and use the project resources. The 10-minute bird observation is at the heart of the project and the kit materials support that 10-minute citizen science observation, but there are lots of other materials and resources on the web site."
You can chose to have the materials sent to you OR you can download them and print them from your computer. Happy bird watching! :)
